The SEAEN buoy is a unique solution for sea-based electricity generation. At sea, we generate electricity from photovoltaic panels as well as wave energy converters. With this unique combination, we can provide a 365-day, 24-hour supply of electricity in virtually any shallow-water location across the world’s seas and lakes.
Competitive solutions equipped solely with photovoltaic panels are unable to generate electricity during extended periods of bad weather, poor visibility, and especially throughout the winter season in far northern or far southern seas. What does the provision of electricity mean if it is not reliable? Not much. We have solved this challenge by offering a reliable solution — in any conditions.
SEAEN delivers reliable electricity to signal lights, security cameras, and all kinds of modern devices that require power to operate. It can be used off-grid or connected to the electrical grid. This makes it invaluable for fish farms, defense applications, coastal infrastructure, and remote housing locations.
SEAEN can also be towed away and safely harbored in the event of forecasted catastrophic weather conditions. Its capsize-free design allows it to operate reliably in any weather. The system is compact and lightweight, enabling easy installation and dismounting even using a small boat.
In most locations worldwide, SEAEN does not require special permits, significantly simplifying deployment.
